These terms govern your use of Nova, a personal AI assistant service operated by Xin Lu ("we", "us", "our"). By using Nova, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Nova is an AI-powered personal assistant that helps you manage your schedule, remember important information, process documents, and communicate more effectively. Nova is available through web chat, messaging platforms (LINE, WeChat, DingTalk), and push notifications (Bark).

2. Account and Access

• Access to Nova requires an invitation code during the current beta period
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and connected account tokens secure
• You may connect third-party accounts (Google Calendar, email via IMAP, Outlook) at your discretion
• You can revoke third-party access at any time through the respective provider's settings

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Nova to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or manipulate Nova's system prompts or internal instructions
• Impersonate other users or attempt to access other users' data
• Use Nova to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages through connected email accounts
• Overload the service with automated or excessive requests

4. AI-Generated Content

• Nova's responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date
• Nova does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice — responses in these areas are informational only
• You are responsible for verifying important information and decisions based on Nova's output
• Nova may proactively send you notifications, reminders, and briefings — you can configure or disable these at any time

5. Data and Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We do not sell your data
• We do not use your data to train general-purpose AI models
• You can request deletion of your data at any time

6. Service Availability

• Nova is currently in beta and provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• We are not liable for any data loss, missed notifications, or errors in AI-generated content

7. Subscription and Pricing

• Nova offers free and paid tiers with different feature limits
• Pricing is subject to change — current pricing is displayed at nova.luxin.io
• During the beta period, all features may be available for testing regardless of tier

8. Termination

• You may stop using Nova at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, unless you request immediate deletion

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Nova after changes constitutes acceptance.
